It took me a long time to finally decide to publish this series of photographs I took as part of my birthday celebration.
Why?
Because to me, it is kinda personal.
Something I would really keep to myself as a momento of life. Something I would look back and feel glad that I have documented myself… as myself.
As I grow older, I realize that only through embracing oneself, you can enjoy freedom and happiness to the fullest. At this age, I am more aware of my strengths and weaknesses. Also, more conscious about what I enjoy and want to pursue in life. And when I started to accept myself and everything about myself, happiness becomes simple.
And suddenly, life becomes simple.
By embracing true authenticity, I felt true happiness.
I feel love.
I think this is often how I think of the modern women – unconventional, brave and live freely with destiny in their own hands.

No make up, no shoes, no fake lashes, no bra, no hair extension…
Just me.
